The Applied Acoustics Branch, located in the Research Directorate at NASA Langley Research Center, conducts research to understand and control aircraft noise and its effects on aerospace structures, payloads, passengers, crew, and the community impacted by aircraft noise. The branch research supports NASA’s Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate.
